Methane Monitoring /Sampling

Methane Monitoring and Sampling

SEMI-ANNUAL EVENT METHODOLOGY

The sampling methodology will generally consist of purging or sampling groundwater wells or surface water points in the morning hours and sampling methane locations in the afternoon hours. AEM will allow each groundwater well to equilibrate for approximately 24 hours after purging before collecting samples for inorganic analyses. This methodology is designed to minimize the occurrence of false-positive results due to increased turbidity in wells.

QUARTERLY OR MONTHLY EVENT METHODOLOGY

AEM currently performs groundwater monitoring services in Bryan County, Effingham County, Evans County, and the City of Savannah.
